Caldor Fire Information

El Dorado County staff are in close communication with local, state and federal officials regarding the Caldor Fire in the southern part of the County. The County’s Emergency Operations Center has been activated by the Sheriff’s Office, enabling government agencies to work together as efficiently as possible. ​

The El Dorado Community Foundation is making resources available to those who are affected financially by the Caldor Fire. There is also funding for animal-related needs, including food costs. People wishing to donate to this effort may do so by clicking here.

Online Structure Damage Map

El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, in collaboration with CAL FIRE has released a map of properties damaged and destroyed by the Caldor Fire within El Dorado County. View the Online Structure Damage Map. This process is NOT complete and is ongoing. Please do NOT call the Sheriff's Office for additional information.

This is a preliminary assessment and the efforts are ongoing, please continue to check back here for additional information. 

Field damage inspection is still ongoing. The icons on the map indicate the current known status of the structure. The map will be updated every date at 9 AM to reflect the validated collection points from the day prior.
