On December 15, 2009 the Board of Supervisors approved a contract with Sierra Ecosystems Associates, Inc. (SEA) to prepare the 1st phase of the INRMP. SEA will work with staff, the Plant and Wildlife Technical Advisory Committee (PAWTAC) and the INRMP Stakeholders Advisory Committee (ISAC) to develop definitions of key terms to be used in the INRMP, update the initial inventory of important biological resources, identify indicator species, and to provide alternative approaches to complete Phase 2 of the INRMP. PAWTAC and ISAC will be meeting monthly to assist in these tasks. Reports will be made to the Board on a regular basis and Board hearings will be held to provide on-going direction as needed to staff and the consultants. PAWTAC and ISAC agendas and minutes are available at the links below.
