  Planning Commission

During this time, Planning Commission meetings will be limited to hear only those items related to immediate health-life-safety issues and those where social distancing can be achieved.   We're all in it together during this uncertain time!

The Planning and Building Department is committed to providing you with the best customer service.  Our lobby is currently open to the public. We're experiencing a substantial increase in permit applications, and as a result, the turnaround times for plan checks and permit reviews are taking longer than usual. Please know we are diligently working to get your plan check and/or permit review completed as quickly as possible so your permit can be issued.

You can check on the status of your permit through our online Permit Status link on the Building and Planning Services web pages. If you have any questions on the permit process or your building permit, please call us at  (530) 621-5315. For other questions please reach out to our Ombudsman, Katie Rider, at 530-621-5352.  We apologize in advance for any delay you may encounter.
