IN-HOME SUPPORTIVE SERVICES (IHSS) PUBLIC AUTHORITY

IN EL DORADO COUNTY IS MOVING

(Placerville, CA) - The El Dorado County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Public Authority office is moving. Effective Monday, June 15, 2020, the IHSS Public Authority will move from its current location on Spring Street in Placerville to the Health and Human Services Agency main campus building located at 3057 Briw Road, Suite A, Placerville. Due to COVID-19 precautions, services will continue to be provided by telephone, email and appointments only at this time. IHSS Public Authority staff telephone numbers and fax number will remain the same.

The IHSS Program pays for supportive services that help eligible aged, blind and disabled individuals remain living in their own homes and communities. The IHSS Public Authority enrolls care providers into a Care Provider Registry and helps IHSS Program recipients find qualified care providers who can assist them with personal care and household needs. The IHSS Public Authority also provides trainings, offers valuable resources, and is the employer of record for all IHSS providers.
