The El Dorado County Health
and Human Services Agency, Connections - One Stop Program is pleased to present
the “Job Skills for a New Future” educational series. The free “jSkills” educational series will provide those
seeking employment or those wishing to update their
employment skills with tools and strategies to assist them in handling the
challenges they face.
Each session of the “jSkills” educational series will be one
week long, conducted Monday through Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the
Connections - One Stop office, located at 3047 Briw Road in Placerville.
Sessions in the training series will feature a different topic each week:
- January 30 through February 2, 2017 – Service Orientation
- February 27 through March 2, 2017 – Effective Communication
- March 27 through March 30, 2017 – Employability Skills
- May 8 through May 11, 2017 –
Diversity in the Workplace
Participants of the educational
series may attend one or all of the sessions; certificates of completion will
be presented at the end of each session. The training series is offered at
no cost and open to all members of the community. Seating is limited. Pre-registration is suggested.
