COMMUNITY INVITED TO PROVIDE INPUT ON COUNTY'S EXPENDITURES
OF STATE MENTAL HEALTH FUNDS
(Placerville, CA) - The El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health Division invites the public to provide input on the annual update to its Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Three-Year Program and Expenditure Plan. The Update covers fiscal years 2023/24 to 25/26.
California voters passed MHSA (Proposition 63) in November 2004, which places a 1% tax on personal incomes over $1,000,000. Counties receive funds through the State, and are to be used to ensure the County's mental health system is consumer-friendly, recovery-oriented, and accessible to all who need it.
"Community members can provide input by attending an upcoming community meeting or submitting an online survey or an email," said Nicole Ebrahimi-Nuyken, El Dorado County Behavioral Health Director. "The meetings will be held by Zoom through one of the links below or by calling (669) 900-6833 and entering the webinar ID and passcode."
Community meetings are scheduled as follows:
