At School

Talk with your child’s teacher and find out if they have some supplies they recommend sending to school with your child in case of an emergency.  You may consider some items that will fit into a one-gallon, zip-lock plastic bag, such as:

· A small blanket

· A rain poncho

· A small flashlight with batteries

· Boxed juice or bottled water

· Non-perishable food

· Disposable utensils

· A pack of tissues

If your child requires any medication, find out what the school policy is and ensure the office or your child has any medication they may need (24-48 hours’ worth).
