El Dorado County Patients' Rights Office


​The Patients’ Rights Office was created in each California County to protect and further the rights of mental health care consumers residing in that County.

What the El Dorado County Patients’ Rights Office Does:

  • Represents Consumers at the El Dorado County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF)
  • Responds to Grievances and Complaints related to Mental Health Services
  • Responds to Inmate Mental Health Concerns
  • Provides General Information to Consumers, Family Members, and the Public
  • Provides Training Regarding Patients' Rights to Consumers and Providers
  • Provides Medi-Cal Beneficiary Publications and Forms

Hours

Mondays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Wednesdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
