Congregate Meal Sites Closure Extended
Congregate Meal
Sites throughout the County will be closed for dine-in lunches until further notice. Lunch “to-go” meals are available for pick up at designated congregate dining sites.
The procedure to reserve and pick up a meal “to-go” is as follows:
1. Contact the Senior Nutrition program at (530) 621-6160 to reserve your meal. You must
reserve your meal no later than the day before pick-up. (A daily pick up schedule can also be arranged. Please call for details.)
2. If you leave a message, please provide your full name, phone number, date of pick up and the site
where you want to pick up your meal.
Meal pick up locations are as follows and available Monday - Friday:
- Placerville Senior Center
- Pioneer Park Community Center
- Greenwood Community Center
- Tahoe Senior Center
- Cameron Park Community Center
- Pollock Pines Community Center
3. Meals can be picked up between 11:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
4. The suggested donation is $3.00 per meal. Checks may be addressed to the Senior Nutrition Program, 937 Spring Street, Placerville, CA, 95667. Cash is accepted also.
Note: No one will be allowed to eat at the pick up locations.

You are invited to enjoy a hot, nutritious meal, Monday through Friday at any of the Senior Dining Centers listed below. Lunch is served from12:00 to 12:30 p.m. for the suggested donation of $3.00 per meal for adults 60 years and older. For information, please call : (530) 621-6160.

Home Delivered Meals
Adults 60 years of age or older who are medically or physically disabled, may be eligible to get a hot nutritious meal delivered to their home Monday through Friday. The suggested donation is $3.00 per meal. Eligibility is determined by staff assessment. Some restrictions apply.
Volunteers
The Senior Nutrition Program is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. Volunteer positions include drivers who deliver meals one day a week between 10:30 to noon, kitchen and dining room volunteers who help with set-up, lunch service and clean up, and those who work as our greeters. Volunteers are always needed and are greatly appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering in the Senior Nutrition Program, please contact our staff.

You can help Senior Nutrition Services meet the needs of our local community by making a tax-deductible contribution. A donation of any size goes directly to the Senior Nutrition Program.
