Dine-In Meal Sites Have Reopened!
Dine-In Meal Sites throughout the County are reopened. Advance reservations are required for the service. Dine-in meals are being served at Senior Nutrition congregate dining sites in Placerville, Pollock Pines, Greenwood, El Dorado Hills, Pioneer Park, Cameron Park and South Lake Tahoe from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
The Senior Nutrition Program's drive through take-out meal service has been discontinued. However, take-out meals are available for indoor pick-up at the congregate sites between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Advance reservations are also required for the take-out meal service.
The procedure to reserve dine-in service or to reserve and pick up a take-out meal is as follows:
1. Contact the Senior Nutrition program at (530) 621-6160 to reserve your meal. Reservations must be received the day before. (A daily schedule for the month can also be arranged. Please call for details.)
2. If you leave a message, please provide your full name, phone number, date of meal and the site where you want to dine-in or pick up your meal.
3. Dine-in meals are served Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. Take-out meals can be picked up between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
4. The suggested voluntary contribution is $3.00 per meal. Checks may be addressed to the Senior Nutrition Program, 937 Spring Street, Placerville, CA, 95667. Cash is accepted also.

Dine-In Meals

You are invited to enjoy a hot, nutritious meal, Monday through Friday at any of the Senior Dining Centers listed below. Lunch is served from12:00 to 12:30 p.m. for the suggested voluntary contribution of $3.00 per meal for adults 60 years and older. Advance reservations are required. Home Delivered Meals
Adults 60 years of age or older who are medically or physically disabled, may be eligible to get a hot nutritious meal delivered to their home Monday through Friday. The suggested voluntary contribution is $3.00 per meal. Eligibility is determined by staff assessment. Some restrictions apply.
Volunteers
The Senior Nutrition Program is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. Volunteer positions include drivers who deliver meals one day a week between 10:30 to noon, kitchen and dining room volunteers who help with set-up, lunch service and clean up, and those who work as our greeters. Volunteers are always needed and are greatly appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering in the Senior Nutrition Program, please contact our staff.
