Dine-In Meal Sites are Open!

Dine-In meal sites throughout El Dorado County are open. Advance reservations are required for the service. Meals are served at Senior Nutrition congregate dining sites in Placerville, Pollock Pines, El Dorado Hills, Pioneer Park, Cameron Park and South Lake Tahoe from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and building closures. In Georgetown, meals are available 5 days per week from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., however, dine-in is currently only available Thursday and Friday. (See chart below for dine-in locations).

The procedure to reserve a meal for dine-in service is as follows: 

  1. Contact the Senior Nutrition program at (530) 621-6160 to reserve your meal. Reservations must be made Monday through Wednesday for the following week. (A daily schedule for the month can also be arranged. Please call for details.) 

  2. If you leave a message, please provide your full name, phone number, date of meal and the site where you want to dine-in. 

  3. Meals are served Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays and building closures, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm. 

  4. The suggested voluntary contribution is $3.00 per meal.  Checks may be addressed to the Senior Nutrition Program, 937 Spring Street, Placerville, CA, 95667. Cash is accepted also.

Dine-In Meals

(*Meals are available 5 days per week at this location, however, dine-in is only available Thursday & Friday. On Monday-Wednesday we encourage participants to bring a chair and congregate on the patio when the weather allows. We are actively looking for a congregate dining location in the Garden Valley/Georgetown area to serve dine-in meals 5 days per week.)

Home Delivered Meals

Adults 60 years of age or older who are medically or physically disabled, may be eligible to get a hot nutritious meal delivered to their home Monday through Friday. The suggested voluntary contribution is $3.00 per meal. Eligibility is determined by staff assessment. Some restrictions apply. 


The Senior Nutrition Program is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. Volunteer positions include drivers who deliver meals one day a week between 10:30 to noon, kitchen and dining room volunteers who help with set-up, lunch service and clean up, and those who work as our greeters. Volunteers are always needed and are greatly appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering in the Senior Nutrition Program, please contact our staff at (530) 621-4546.
