Welfare-to-Work is the employment and training component of the CalWORKs program. It helps people receiving cash assistance to secure employment with the goal of self-sufficiency. Through ongoing case management, people are assisted to reduce barriers to employment. The Welfare-to-Work program coordinates with other agencies for the benefit of families.
