Last week, El Dorado County co-hosted the annual California Association of Clerks and Elected Officials (CACEO) summer conference in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. This annual conference provides opportunities for counties to connect with each other, with representatives from other agencies, and with industry technology leaders. Upcoming legislation impacting clerks and elections officials is analyzed for its impacts in the upcoming year(s). Voter accessibility groups meet to discuss language and accessibility needs for voters. In all, nearly 300 participants, and representatives from 20 technology and accessibility firms attended to make this annual conference a success.
