Sierra Vista Bank Partners with County to Provide Help for Small Businesses
(Placerville, CA)— Sierra Vista Bank is joining with the El Dorado County Office of Economic Development to help small business owners with a free seminar on the techniques and financial tools available to support, grow and strengthen their businesses.
The May 14, 2013 seminar at the County’s Government Center will teach small business owners methods to deal with everything from start-up to expansion to business acquisition. And experts will explain the variety of lending programs and financing options available to small businesses, the tools they can use to protect and bolster their businesses, and even the risks to small businesses and how to manage them.
“We’ve been in this community a long time, and we know how hard our small businesses work to succeed,” said Sierra Vista Bank President and CEO Greg Patton. We believe that any help we can give those businesses is good for them and it’s good for the entire region. We’re thrilled to be a part of something like this.”
Sierra Vista Bank and the County are reaching out to existing small business owners and to people considering starting a small business to encourage them to learn more about what’s available, including Small Business Administration loans and other financing, lines of credit, cash management techniques, and simple business efficiencies.
“We want people to know there is help out there,” Patton said.
The complimentary seminar runs 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the OES conference room at the County Government Center in Placerville at 330 Fair Lane, Building A. More information is available at (530) 621-5595.
