Ambulance Rates

Rates are set by the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and are adjusted periodically.

West Slope Ambulance Fees (CSA 7):


East Slope Ambulance Fees (CSA 3):
Medicare will only reimburse for ambulance service deemed “medically necessary”. Occasionally, seniors are surprised to find payment denied by Medicare, making the patient responsible for the ambulance bill. HICAP is an advocacy group that can assist seniors dealing with Medicare. Contact HICAP at (530) 621-6369.
