Pollock Pines-Camino Chamber Partners with County on Business Walk Jim Claybaugh (530) 621-7539 2014-04-03 CAO

(Placerville, CA)— The Pollock Pines-Camino Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the El Dorado County Economic Development Division and the Sacramento Metro Chamber, will conduct its annual Business Walk on April 10, 2014, beginning at 12:30PM.  Volunteers will canvass local businesses to gauge current business conditions and ideas for improvement.

“A Business Walk is an important Chamber tool for strengthening the local economy,” said Wanda Flores, Director of the Pollock Pines-Camino Chamber. “It initiates an ongoing conversation to help businesses utilize available resources.”

During a Business Walk, Chamber volunteers and County Economic Development staff visit with individual business owners and executives and conduct a brief survey. The results of the survey help the Chamber and County identify both challenges and successes in the business community.

The event begins at 12:30 PM on April 10, 2014, at the Pollock Pines-Camino Chamber office at 4123 Carson Road, Suite B, in Camino, and goes until 5:30. Immediately following the Walk will be the monthly Chamber Mixer at the Camino Heights Golf Course.

Businesses interested in participating in the Business Walk, or individuals interested in volunteering, should contact the Chamber of Commerce at 530.647.0735. Any business not contacted that day may still provide their input by contacting the Chamber before April 15, 2014.
