El Dorado County Board of Supervisors Appoints Pamela Knorr as the Chief Administrative Officer

Placerville, CA – February 03, 2015 – El Dorado County Board of Supervisors has unanimously appointed Pamela Knorr as the Chief Administrative Officer for an interim period of one year. After which time, the Board will conduct a competitive recruitment for a permanent Chief Administrative Officer.
Ms. Knorr has been a dedicated public servant for over 28 years while working in the areas of county administration, human resources, human services, and public sector budgeting. During her career, Ms.Knorr has served in various positions in five different California counties: Amador, Napa, Placer, Alpine, and El Dorado. Ms. Knorr served as Chief Administrative Officer for five years while working for Alpine County.
El Dorado County Board of Supervisors Chairman and District Three Supervisor Brian Veerkamp said,“Pamela brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position with a common sense approach. The Board is confident that she will be successful in guiding the County through this transition.”
Over the next year, Ms. Knorr will continue to work with the Board and County departments to achieve ongoing County goals:
- Presenting a Board directed balanced budget for Fiscal Year 2015-16
- Facilitating the development of a county strategic plan
- Identifying and evaluating options for new county facilities
