WHAT: An all-day open house to educate the public about the new voting system that will be used in March, 2020.

WHO: El Dorado County’s Registrar of Voters, Bill O’Neill, and County elections staff will preview and demonstrate the new ways voters will be able to cast their ballots next year.
BACKGROUND: The passage of the Voters Choice Act, SB 450, created a new model of voting, including using “vote centers” as opposed to precinct polling places. The County was also required to purchase new equipment prior to the March 2020 election.
